Our Story
Niko's Lounge began as a simple conviction: that the best bread, pastries, and pantry staples deserve the same care and attention as a fine meal. What started as weekend baking in a home kitchen has grown into a cornerstone of the West View community — a place where neighbors gather, recipes are refined, and every item on the shelf has a reason to be there.
We source locally whenever we can, ferment our doughs slowly for depth of flavor, and bake in small batches throughout the day. The result is food that tastes like it was made the way it should — with patience, skill, and respect for the ingredients.
The Craft
Every loaf gets the time it needs. Our sourdoughs ferment for 24 to 48 hours, developing complex flavors and a crumb structure that fast production can never replicate.
We partner with regional mills and farms to source flour, dairy, and produce that supports our neighbors and delivers flavor you can't get from commodity ingredients.
We bake in small batches throughout the day. That means the last croissant out of the oven at 4 pm is just as fresh and flaky as the first one at 7 am.
